The LCDO's Judicial Reception is always well-attended by judges (50 to 75 judges have attended in prior years) representing most jurisdictions, as well as the appellate, circuit, district, and orphan's courts in Maryland.
The reception offers you an invaluable opportunity to speak informally with judges and law clerks. A good conversation with a judge at the reception can get your resume pulled out from the pending stack, and placed in the "call to schedule an interview" category for either a clerkship or an internship.
All class years, including first-years, are encouraged to attend!
