poets Annie Finch and Cherise Pollard

Annie Finch is a poet and a witch—and considers them to be the same thing. Annie speaks and teaches on women's empowerment, poetry and poetic form, and earth-based spirituality. Her many publications include books on poetic craft, writings on spirituality, the feminist epic Among the Goddesses, and the poetry collections Eve, Calendars, and Spells. She teaches in the low-residency M.F.A. program in creative writing at St. Francis College. 

Cherise Pollard is a poet and professor of English at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Pollard’s work has appeared in several journals and anthologies, including 5AMAfrican American ReviewPoemMemoirStory, the Pittsburgh Poetry Review, and Rattle. Her chapbook, Outsiders, won the Mississippi Valley/Susan K. Collins Poetry Chapbook 2015 Contest.
