The University of Baltimore's Sayra and Neil Meyerhoff Center for Families, Children and the Courts (CFCC) presents its 10th Annual Urban Child Symposium, "Restorative Practices and the Urban Child."

In partnership with the Open Society Institute-Baltimore, UB's Center for Families, Children and the Courts will devote its 10th Annual Urban Child Symposium to an examination of alternatives to harsh school discipline practices. Education, justice and policy experts will focus on restorative practices and restorative justice as tools to address negative behavior by students and to reinforce the notion of the school as a community.
