Veteran civil rights movement activists Judy Richardson and Betty Garman Robinson will share their experiences as participants in the past and present fight for equality in the United States. Joshua Clark Davis, assistant professor of history, will moderate the discussion, followed by a reception and book signing for Hands on the Freedom Plow: Personal Accounts by Women in SNCC, co-edited by Richardson and Robinson.

This event is sponsored by the undergraduate History program, the History Club, the Helen P. Denit Honors Program, the Diversity and Culture Center, and the Center for Student Involvement.
