Attention, ladies of UB! The Women of Color Student Association and Spotlight UB are producing Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues, and we want YOU to join our cast! We’re planning an interest meeting Thursday, March 15th from 3-9pm in the Wright Theater. Feel free to drop in when you can, or shoot us a message on Orgsync if you can’t make it that day but still want to participate. No acting experience is necessary.
About the Vagina Monologues: The show is a series of monologues, written by Eve Ensler and based on interviews she conducted with many women. The show’s aim is to explore female sexuality in its many forms and experiences. Some of the monologues performed do have a humor element, and some deal with positive sexual encounters. However, a number of the monologues also deal with more serious topics, including violence against women in various forms.
