Maryland Office of the Public Defender (OPD) Fellowship and Jobs Info Session

Johanna Cohen Leshner, the OPD Director of Recruitment, as well as former fellows, will share information about career opportunities with the OPD. Available opportunities include:
- 2019 Summer Internships (2D/3E)

- Post-graduate Public Defender Positions (3D/4E)
- Please view the posting on Symplicity (# 16869) and apply by Oct. 10. The OPD will conduct On-Campus Interviews on Oct. 17.
- OPD Public Interest Fellowships (PIF) (2D/3E)
- Recipients will receive a paid ($4,000) law clerk position for the 2019 summer in the Baltimore City office. At the end of a successful summer, the OPD will make an offer to at least one of the Public Interest Fellows for post-graduate employment. Apply through Symplicity (Job # 17114).
