Come Celebrate With Baltimore's Startup Community!
Are you an entrepreneur? Have you dreamed of starting or do you run your own company? Or are you simply interested in supporting the growth of entrepreneurship in Baltimore?
If you can answer "yes" to any of these questions, then you need to attend the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation's “Startup Maryland Day” Celebration to meet, learn from, and cheer on some of the area's most promising and successful business leaders.
Now in its eighth year, Startup Maryland's "Pitch Across Maryland" bus tour will stop at the University of Baltimore's CEI for an afternoon of events, celebrations and a business pitch competition, on Monday, Oct. 7.
This year’s event, held during "Baltimore Innovation Week," will feature workshops, one-on-one coaching, a startup "boot camp," and networking opportunities, along with food, drinks, and more — in other words, something for anyone looking to enter Baltimore's innovation ecosystem via the "front door to entrepreneurship," UB. Open to the public, "Pitch Across Maryland" events include:
- "How-to" workshops taught by leading subject matter experts
- The chance to win a Golden Ticket to the “STRT1UP Road Show" bus — watch some of last year's pitches here
- Meeting and mingling with investors, business leaders, and other like-minded people
