The history program welcomes three exciting alumni to talk about their current business, scholarly, and teaching careers. Anyone interested in learning about what you can do with a history degree is welcome. This virtual event is free and open to the public.

PANELISTS:

  • Rita C. Davenport, B.A. ’18, Rita is a social studies teacher at Leith Walk Elementary Middle School in Baltimore City.
     
  • Michael Guy, B.A. ’13, is a Ph.D. candidate at George Washington University. He received an M.A. in Museum Studies and Historical Preservation from Morgan State University. Michael also interned at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art.
     
  • Takia Ross, B.A. ’11, is the owner and lead make-up artist of Accessmatized, LLC.  She has been named one of the DMV’s Top 100 Minority Business Enterprises, REALlist Connectors Top Community Builders in Baltimore, and one of Baltimore’s Top 25 Women to Watch in 2019 by Baltimore Sun.
