If you plan on applying to one or more of the diversity-related scholarship and fellowship opportunities available for Summer 2021, then attend this program! Kia Scipio, Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Ropes & Gray LLP, will guide students through tips for navigating the various diversity fellowships, scholarships, and other hiring programs you will encounter on the road to your first legal job, including how to write a compelling diversity personal statement.

There will also be time to hear from UB Law students who secured a Summer 2020 placement through a diversity hiring program.  As opportunities are available to both the Class of 2022 and Class of 2023, 1Ls and 2Ls are encouraged to attend.
