Introducing You Can Help: The University of Baltimore Food Drive to Benefit the Maryland Food Bank and the Lawyers’ Campaign Against Hunger. The challenge is on: UBalt student organizations are determined to collect 10,000 canned or nonperishable food items, and they need your help.
Your support of this University-wide food drive will help the Maryland Food Bank feed the more than 460,000 Marylanders who aren’t sure where their next meal is coming from. Our collective efforts will benefit children, seniors and those in the Maryland Food Bank's fastest-growing demographic of need—working adults and families who are just above the federal poverty line and are struggling to make ends meet.
Drop off your food items at any of the designated collection points in the University’s main buildings. There will be marked boxes for you to use, as well as tables staffed with volunteers to assist you.
