The University of Baltimore's Salute Our Troops Week will take place Nov. 5-9, with several events honoring veterans and currently-serving members of the military who also are UBalt students, faculty and staff. The University thanks all of those who have served, and encourages the community to join us in tribute at any or all of these events:
Monday, Nov., 5, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
Sign the "Thank Our Vets" poster in the lobby of the Student Center, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave.
Tuesday, Nov. 6, 4 to 6 p.m.:
Opening reception for "The War to End All Wars," a new exhibition of World War I recruiting posters in the Student Center Gallery
Wednesday, Nov. 7, 12:30 to 2 p.m.:
Lunchtime panel on veterans issues, co-sponsored by the Hoffberger Center for Professional Ethics, in the Student Center's Bogomolny Room
Thursday, Nov. 8, 5:30 p.m. (reception) and 6 to 7 p.m. (performance):
Veterans Readings, presented by Spotlight UBalt
Friday, Nov. 9, noon:
Flag ceremony in Gordon Plaza
