Seduction, a concert featuring the music of a number of acclaimed composers, will be presented by the Baltimore-based chamber music organization Vivre Musicale on Friday, April 20 as part of the University of Baltimore's Spotlight UB live performance series. The event will take place at 7 p.m. in the acoustically-designed Lucy and Vernon Wright Theater in the UB Student Center, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave. Ticket information listed below.

Seduction illustrates the primordial seduction story through the eyes of Eve. Divided into three sections, the music marks each point in Eve's transformation, ultimately concluding with the knowledge that caused her exile from the Garden of Eden. Seduction features the works of Bruce Bacock, Gabriel Fauré, John Anthony Lennon, Hector Villa-Lobos, Astor Piazzolla, Kaja Saariaho, Ezra Laderman and Earl Kim. Original artwork created for this concert by Lilly Winger will also be featured. Performers include Jessica Abel, soprano; Jackie Capecci, viola; Amanda Matson, soprano; Jacqueline Pollauf, harp; Julia Wilcox, piano; and Melissa Wertheimer, flute.

Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for seniors and $5 for students. Order tickets online at www.etix.com; search for University of Baltimore events. Find out more about Spotlight UB.
