The art exhibition Amplified: Works by Matt Cave will open on Friday, June 1 in the University of Baltimore's Student Center Gallery, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave. An opening night reception will be held in the gallery space from 7 to 9 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

Cave is an award-winning artist, art director and designer who recently moved to the Baltimore area from Boca Raton, Fla. Amplified details his interest in the merging of analog and digital, typography and image, graphic design and fine art, and collage and acrylic paint—all tied together by a conceptual common thread.

The exhibition will continue through Sept. 4. For information about the gallery, contact Jaye Crooks, 410.837.6022 or jcrooks@ubalt.edu.
