Three alumnae from the University of Baltimore are among the Baltimore Sun's "50 Women to Watch," a list generated by the newspaper's readers as well as local leaders and newsmakers to determine the area's "most intriguing movers and shakers of 2014."
The three UB alumnae are:
- Georgette Kiser, M.B.A. '04
- Cylia Lowe, J.D. '03, M.S. '08
- Mary V. McNamara Koch, J.D. '87
Kiser is vice president and head of enterprise solutions and capabilities for T. Rowe Price, as well as a member of the University of Baltimore Foundation; Lowe is president-elect of the Junior League of Baltimore; and Koch is a partner in the law firm of Murphy, Falcon & Murphy.
"We're proud of the recognition that the Sun has given to these wonderful UB alumnae," said UB President Kurt Schmoke. "The UB community extends its congratulations to the honorees for their accomplishments—they are indeed women to watch."
The Sun's "50 Women to Watch" article is available online in the Sun Magazine.
The University of Baltimore is a member of the University System of Maryland and comprises the College of Public Affairs, the Merrick School of Business, the UB School of Law and the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences.
