Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh to Speak at School of Law Commencement, May 18

The University of Baltimore School of Law will hold its 88th commencement ceremony on Monday, May 18 beginning at 1 p.m. in the Patricia and Arthur Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric, adjacent to the UB campus. Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh will deliver the keynote address.
UB School of Law Dean Ronald Weich will greet the graduates and their guests, and UB President Kurt L. Schmoke will offer an official welcome and will lead the conferring of degrees. Thomas Slater, a member of the University System of Maryland Board of Regents, will represent the board during the ceremony.
Two law students—Jermaine Haughton and Meredith Cipriano—will be presented with Law Faculty Awards by Dean Weich. Members of the Heuisler Honor Society, made up of students in the top 10 percent of their graduating class, also will be recognized for their achievements.
The University of Baltimore is a member of the University System of Maryland and comprises the College of Public Affairs, the Merrick School of Business, the UB School of Law and the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences.
