Two innovative business leaders are collaborating to strike a balance between "doing good" and earning well, ands bringing their message to the University of Baltimore on Thursday, March 2 as part of the Merrick Engages series, sponsored by UB's Merrick School of Business. Eric Becker is founder of Caretta Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, focuses on flexibility and finding value beyond financial metrics. Lane Epperson is president and CEO of HiTECH Assets, an Oklahoma City-based leader in the area of secure high-assurance, end-of-life IT data security and environmentally certified electronics recycling. Their inspiring and practical story will be featured on March 2 in a dialogue with Murray Dalziel, dean of the Merrick School of Business, in an event called "How Well-Run Businesses Can Make an Impact."
The program begins at 5:30 p.m, in the M. Scot Kaufman Auditorium in the William H. Thumel Sr. Business Center (home of the Merrick School of Business), 11 W. Mt. Royal Ave. The event is free and open to the public; an online R.S.V.P. is required. (Details are listed below.)
