Remember that your Bee Card serves as your parking access card. If your Bee Card stops working, contact the parking office at 410.837.6573.

  • Regular Employees: Pre-Tax Parking

A pre-tax payroll authorization form must be submitted to Stefanie Shaffer in the Office of Auxiliary Enterprises. This form will authorize payments from your paycheck. The "form" is an index card and can be obtained from the Office of Human Resources or from Stefanie Shaffer (410.837.5735).

After your pre-tax payroll authorization card has been received in the Office Auxiliary Enterprises, the parking office will program your Bee Card. There is no online registration required for this option.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the recommendation for employees who drive to campus occasionally?

To be eligible for the campus rate, you must show your valid Bee Card and driver's license or state-issued identification for verification; the cashier must be present to validate the campus rate.

  • I sometimes have guests and visitors. How do I arrange for their parking?

  • If I leave UB or go on sabbatical, how do I apply for a refund of the remaining balance on my Bee Card or cancel my pre-tax parking?

To cancel pre-tax parking payroll deductions, simply fill out the Parking Payroll Deduction Authorization card (check the "cancel" box), available by contacting UB's Office of Human Resources (410.837.5410) or Stefanie Shaffer (410.837.5735 or srshaffer@ubalt.edu).
