2016-17 Tuition and Mandatory Fees per Semester

Rates and descriptions are subject to change pending proposed state legislation and University System of Maryland Board of Regents approval.

Graduate Students Outside of Maryland:
You pay in-state tuition if you

live in:

Washington, D.C.
Northern Virginia: Arlington, Loudon, Fairfax and Prince William counties and Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas and Manassas Park
Pennsylvania: Adams, York and Lancaster counties
Delaware: all counties

OR are enrolled in these fully online programs:

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.; see Graduate Public Affairs)
M.S. in Interaction Design and Information Architecture (see Graduate Arts and Sciences).

Regional residency only applies to students and credits associated with a UBalt graduate program. Undergraduate degrees and certificates, doctoral, law and advanced professional degrees are not included.

A course load of 12 credits or more per semester is considered full-time for undergraduates.
Web classes are an additional $41 per credit hour of tuition (in-state) or $64 per credit hour of tuition (out-of-state).
