2018-19 Tuition and Mandatory Fees per Semester

Rates and descriptions are subject to change pending proposed state legislation and University System of Maryland Board of Regents approval.

Graduate Students Outside of Maryland:
You pay in-state tuition if you

Washington, D.C.
Virginia: Arlington, Clarke, Culpeper, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Rappahannock, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Warren counties. As well as the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Fredericksburg, Manassas and Manassas Park.
Pennsylvania: Adams, Chester, Lancaster and York counties
Delaware: all counties

A course load of 12 credits or more per semester is considered full time for undergraduates.
Web classes are an additional $41 per credit hour of tuition (in state) or $64 per credit hour of tuition (out of state).
