Keeping yourself and others safe
While injuries, accidents and significant safety concerns may be a rare occurrence on the University of Baltimore campus, they do happen from time to time. Injuries can range from minor cuts and scrapes that occur while playing basketball or lifting weights, to more serious things like a car accident or allergic reactions; safety concerns can range from minor facility incidents to situations that require emergency personnel or law enforcement. It is our goal to help students understand how they should respond in the event of an incident resulting in injury. As a reminder, in any emergency situation you should always contact the University of Baltimore Police Department (410.837.4444) or local law enforcement (911) first.
We encourage you to be aware of the following campus resources should a situation arise:
- University of Baltimore Police Department: On-campus law enforcement agency.
- Office of Human Resources: For incidents involving university faculty and staff.
- Office of Community Life: For incidents involving students. Incident information can be shared here.
- Office of Facilities Management: Issues with campus facilities.
