Salary: $34,000 - $42,000
Under general supervision, independently coordinates the operational tasks involved in the day to day administration of programs under the B-Power initiative, including the College Readiness Academy and Dual Enrollment. This position reports to the Program Manager, Early College Initiatives and provides administrative support maintains program records, assists the Program Manager with employee training, maintains meeting and instructor schedules, communicates to internal and external program partners, operates within institutional business processes, travels to partner high schools and organizations, attends meetings, and performs other duties as assigned. Coordinates administrative processes involved in supporting the B-Power initiatives, including recruitment, selection, admission, registration, orientation, and progression of students or participants.
Ensures that all required forms and documentation are complete. Compiles, updates, and maintains all records related to assigned administrative processes.
Assists in planning and coordinates all activities involved in organizing training, conferences, seminars, workshops, meetings, and special events such as staff retreats.
Assist in the design, edits, and prepares drafts of marketing, public relations, and other informational materials. Coordinates printing and publication requirement with University or other external resources.
Collects and enters information needed for database and tracking system on program activities. Compiles statistics, presents these in table or chart format, and prepares reports for program evaluation, compliance, and survey participation purposes.
Serves as a liaison between students, faculty, and department staff regarding payroll, benefits, reimbursements, and other administrative matters.
Assists with program evaluation activities and recommends ways to efficiently utilize space, equipment, and personnel resources.
Receives, screens, and responds to inquiries on the phone or in writing.
Required Education and Experience
Education: Baccalaureate degree in Business, Education, Marketing, Psychology, or other related/discipline that supports incumbent's success in performing position responsibilities.
Experience: One year administrative experience
Preferred experience: Three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in an institute of higher education, community-based organization, or other educational setting.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
General knowledge of acceptable business oral, written, and electronic communications. General knowledge of and skill in the use of word processing, database, and spreadsheet software to produce documents and maintain information. Skill in performing basic mathematical computations. Ability to present statistical material in table, chart, or graph form. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with tact and discretion. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to operate computers and other office equipment. Ability to train and evaluate personnel.

•You can use the first day of the month wherever dates are required.
•Click the plus sign to the left of "References" to enter two professional references.
•After you enter your education information and references, click “Save,” then click “Next.”

•After you enter this information, click “Save,” then click “Next.”
4. Online Questionnaire/Application Questionnaire: Answer the questions requiring a yes or no response. After you answer them, click “Submit.” This leads you to the Submit Online Application page.
