The University of Baltimore Langsdale Library seeks a collaborative and creative Digital Resources Librarian. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of digital resources from vendor contacts to implementation and troubleshooting. The successful candidate collaborates with staff from all other departments in the library and serve as a primary contact with the University System of Maryland and Affiliated Institutions (USMAI) Consortial Library Applications & Services (CLAS) team as well as other advisory groups related to acquisition and licensing of digital resources.
The successful candidate will also assess usage and monitor trends, standards and best practices related to digital resources. In addition, the successful candidate in collaboration with other library staff promotes the use of its digital resources to the campus community. The Digital Resources Librarian assists all units in the library on issues related to digital access and preservation.

Required: MLS from an ALA-accredited library school or an equivalent degree and at least one year of library experience.
Preferred: MLS from an ALA-accredited library school or an equivalent degree, focused on digital resource licensing and evaluation with two to three years of experience in an academic library in digital resource management and evaluation.
