Part -time up to 25 hours/week.
The University of Baltimore seeks a Development Writer to join its team. The Development Writer will assist with writing services for the Office of Philanthropy specifically geared toward annual giving solicitations, grant reporting narratives, and storytelling narratives about the impact of philanthropy on the University of Baltimore. This team member can telework.

Scope of services will include:
• Composition of spring annual appeal letters addressing how funds better improve successes using direct correlations of individual student experiences and programming.
• Assist in the narrative writing for two impact reports for two grant proposals.
• Compose digital communication pieces surrounding university philanthropy efforts and specific calls to action.
Key functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
* Write and produce content for print, web and social media to increase awareness of the
university’s fundraising and its role in advancing the university.
* Copy write annual fund solicitations, broadcast email and social media collateral to increase
engagement and financial support from diverse audiences.
* Assist in the narrative writing for two impact reports for two grant proposals.
Required Qualifications
Required education and experience include a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Skill in the mechanics of the English language and in the use of personal computers and word processing software. Ability to gather information from a variety of sources and to draft articles according to a particular style, format, or audience. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and establish and maintain effective working relationships.

•For country, enter USA or click the hourglass to select another country.
•You can use the first day of the month wherever dates are required.
•Click the plus sign to the left of "References" to enter two professional references.
•After you enter your education information and references, click “Save,” then click “Next.”

•After you enter this information, click “Save,” then click “Next.”
4. Online Questionnaire/Application Questionnaire: Answer the questions requiring a yes or no response. After you answer them, click “Submit.” This leads you to the Submit Online Application page.
