The Robert G. Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Economics for which rank and tenure status is open. The position is available beginning fall 2015 and is subject to final budget approval by the President of the University.
The Merrick School of Business is accredited by AACSB International and enrolls approximately 2,000 students in its seven undergraduate and graduate programs, of which 850 are graduate students. The University of Baltimore is part of the University System of Maryland and has four academic units: Merrick School of Business, School of Law, College of Arts and Sciences, and College of Public Affairs. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in our business curriculum, conduct high quality research, and provide service to the University and The Merrick School.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in Economics from an AACSB International accredited university are preferred. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in a related field with significant teaching and research experience in economics are encouraged to apply. ABDs will be considered if completion is expected within the first year of appointment. Applicants are expected to have a demonstrable record of excellence in teaching and research. There is a strong preference for candidates with outstanding teaching experience in a business curriculum. The candidate’s field of specialization is open, but is expected to be compatible with the research environment of an AACSB accredited business school.

10. Click the Add Attachment link, select References, then attach a PDF or Word document with your third and final letter of recommendation, and then. Click “Save.”
