The University of Baltimore ("UB" or "University"), School Of Health and Human Services is seeking a candidate for a full-time faculty tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in January 2019. The position is a full-time faculty position for the undergraduate Human Services Administration Program (HSER) housed in the School of Health and Human Services.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in a human services related field (e.g. human services, psychology, social work, counseling, public administration) by the time of appointment. Candidates should have a record of scholarly activities appropriate to their rank and clearly demonstrate the potential for quality university instruction and service to their profession and the university.

We are looking for a committed individual who will advance the College's mission by delivering high-quality human services administration courses that feature engaged learning projects, student-focused education in preparation for tomorrow’s careers, and curricula aligned to the regional industry needs. Our ideal candidate will bring a passion and commitment to teaching, advising and shared governance. The candidate should also be able to incorporate service and/or experiential learning into the classroom setting.
Successful candidates will have teaching experience and research interests in two or more of the following subject areas: Human services administration management, nonprofit management, substance addiction and treatment, diverse populations,
This position will have the primary responsibility of teaching courses in our B.A. HSER program. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses at the Baltimore campus with flexibility to teach both face-to-face and online courses. A commitment to scholarly activities and service both to University of Baltimore and the external community is also required. This position also requires that the person hired be an active member of the faculty who contributes to program development, governance, accreditation efforts, and sustainability. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
