The Robert G. Merrick School of Business of the University of Baltimore invites applications for a lecturer in accounting, beginning Fall 2014. This appointment is subject to final budget approval by the President of the university.

The Merrick School of Business is accredited by AACSB International, enrolls approximately 1,800 students, and has programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The University of Baltimore is part of the University System of Maryland and has four academic units: the Law School, the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Public Affairs, and the Merrick School of Business.  The University is located in the cultural center of Baltimore within walking distance of the harbor, restaurants, theaters, symphony hall, and train station. Qualifications:
Successful candidates should have an MBA or a specialized master’s degree, e.g., M.S. in Accounting or an M.S. in Taxation, and be a licensed CPA. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and relevant teaching experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven teaching record with the desire to deliver accounting courses to undergraduate and graduate business students. Experience teaching online is desirable. The candidate is expected to be actively engaged in the profession, the community and with students.

8. Click the Add Attachment link, select References, attach a Word or PDF document with all of your teaching evaluations, then click "Save and Add More."

9. Click the Add Attachment link, select References, attach a Word or PDF document with your statement of teaching philosophy, then click "Save and Add More."

10, Click the Add Attachment link, select References, attach a Word or PDF document with contact information for 3 professional references, then click "Save".
