The Robert G. Merrick School of Business of the University of Baltimore invites applications for a lecturer/visiting assistant professor in management, beginning Fall 2014. This appointment is subject to final budget approval by the President of the university.

The Merrick School of Business is accredited by AACSB International, enrolls approximately 1,800 students, and has programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The University of Baltimore is part of the University System of Maryland and has four academic units: the Law School, the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Public Affairs, and the Merrick School of Business.  The University is located in the cultural center of Baltimore within walking distance of the harbor, restaurants, theaters, symphony hall, and train station. The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in management or at minimum an MBA or master’s degree in a related field combined with extensive work experience.  Applicants should have excellent communication skills and relevant teaching experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven teaching record. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in strategy and/or international business. Experience in online teaching is desirable. The candidate is expected to be actively engaged in the profession, the community and with students.


Salary is competitive and rank is commensurate with experience.

9. Click the Add Attachment link, select References, attach a Word or PDF document with your statement of teaching philosophy, then click "Save and Add More."

10, Click the Add Attachment link, select References, attach a Word or PDF document with contact information for 3 professional references, then click "Save".
