The University of Baltimore's Langsdale Library is seeking an enthusiastic individual for a part-time Reference Librarian position. Responsibilities include providing reference services, and participating in the library’s information literacy program. This part-time position will require up to 19 hours/week during the fall academic semester (August 18 - December 16). The contract may be renewed for the spring semester pending funding.
Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
Weekend and evening hours are required. Salary is $25-$30/hr, depending on experience. Benefits are not offered.
Required: MLS from an ALA-accredited library school. One year of experience in reference and instruction, preferably in an academic library setting. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment with a strong commitment to public service.
Preferred: Familiarity with business, liberal arts and social science resources
