In 2016, following substantial curricular reform, the General Education Council outlined a new program assessment plan. The plan focuses on (a) ongoing review of course quality through a clear process for course certification and re-certification, (b) a clear, faculty-led process for continual SLO assessment and improvement of students’ developmental progression vis-à -vis the five domain areas in GE and the five areas in GR, and (c) overall program effectiveness and use of best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment.
