PeopleSoft nVision Download for Drilldown

- Before launching any files from this page, be sure:
- you are using Microsoft Excel 2003 or 2007.
- to close all Microsoft Excel 2003 windows.
- to close all other web browser windows, leaving only this current window open.
Fixing the nVision DrillDown
These instructions should be used if the nVision toolbar in Excel is freezing or hanging.

Click here to launch the .bat file
to fix the nVision toolbar. A file download dialog box appears.
- Click Run in the dialog box. A MSDOS window appears.
- Press any key on your keyboard to complete the fix. This will close the MSDOS window.
The installation is complete! Run an nVision Drilldown to confirm that it is working properly.
Adding or Upgrading the nVision Drilldown
(Don't need instructions? Click here to run the 2003 upgrade, click here for the 2007 upgrade, or click here for the 2010 upgrade.)
- Click the link for your version of Excel:
Excel 2003, Excel 2007, Excel 2010
. A file download dialog box appears.
- Click the Run button.
- Click the Runbutton in the next window. This will launch the installation of nVision.
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button.
The installation is complete! Run an nVision Drilldown to confirm that it is working properly.
Fixing the Report Manager Issue
This fix enables the automatic prompting for file downloads in Internet Explorer. To fix manually go to Tools->Internet Options->Security->Custom Level->Downloads->Automatic Prompting for file downloads->Enable under Internet Explorer.
To run the fix automatically do the following:

Click hereto launch the fix for nVision toolbar. A file download box appears.
- Click Run.
- You will then be prompted by an Internet Explorer Security Warning. Click the Runbutton.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
The fix is complete! Run the nVision Drilldown to confirm Report Manager is working properly.
