The Advanced Women’s Self Defense Course is now being offered by the University of Baltimore Police Department. 

Course Prerequisite:   R.A.D. Basic Self Defense

Course Description:  The R.A.D. Advanced Self Defense course builds on techniques and strategies from the Basic class. This program also covers more prone defense strategies and multiple subject encounters.

The classes are on Saturday and will run for 6 weeks with 3 hour sessions each.  Enrollment is open to all UB female faculty, staff, students and alumni who have already taken the basic self defense course. Class size is limited to 20 students. There will be a $20.00 cost to cover the comprehensive reference manual. Attendance of all sessions is strongly encouraged and a certificate of completion will be issued upon successful completion of the course.

*** Note: A minimum of 8 persons is required for the course to commence.

 

SESSION SCHEDULE

All classes are held in the AC Gym - Mat Room.  It is suggested that you wear comfortable (gym type) clothes and shoes for each session.

SESSION will be offered on Saturdays from 10:30am - 1:30pm starting on 10/21/17.  Session may be extended due to inclement weather.
