Climate Neutrality—And Beyond

When you think "green," the first thing that may come to mind is the effort to achieve climate neutrality. The University of Baltimore's Sustainability Task Force is working to fulfill the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment, signed by UB President Robert L. Bogomolny on Dec. 11, 2007. This pledge, signed by representatives from more than 600 colleges and universities, aims to reduce our impact on the environment by:

  • neutralizing the University’s greenhouse gas emissions
  • addressing the problem of climate change through research and education.
