UBalt Grant
The University of Baltimore offers an institutional grant, the "UBalt Grant", to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. The award ranges from $1,000 up to full in-state tuition per year. Eligibility is determined by the Office of Financial Aid. Students must complete a FAFSA in order to be considered for this grant.
Any change in your residency status may lead to an adjustment of need-based state scholarships or grant amounts. This could mean a decrease or potentially even the cancellation of awards.
The UBalt Grant may be applied toward tuition only; they may not be applied toward fees. These funds are nonrefundable. For more information, contact the Office of Financial Aid at financialaid@ubalt.edu .
Presidential Scholar Award
The Presidential Scholar Award is awarded to UBalt students who are classified as in-state, demonstrate high financial need as shown on the FAFSA, and who are enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester excluding winter session. Eligibility is determined by the Office of Financial Aid. The funding is limited.
All awarded institutional funds, including grants and scholarships, are applied to tuition only. These funds are nonrefundable.
