You must be formally readmitted if you have not taken any UB classes for credit for more than two consecutive semesters (excluding summers) and have not received an official leave of absence from the dean of your college. If you have been absent for only one or two semesters, simply register for classes during the next appropriate registration period.
To apply for readmission:
- Complete the Application for Transfer Admission, including the question regarding where you have previously enrolled.
- Submit the appropriate application fee to UB.
- Complete the Residency Information Form if you wish to be considered a Maryland resident for admission/tuition purposes.
- Items can be sent electronically, mailed or delivered to the Office of Transfer Admission, 1420 N. Charles St., Baltimore MD 21201 or transfer@ubalt.edu. Please do not email official transcripts.
- Submit official transcripts for all coursework taken while away from UB.
- Pay all outstanding balances in full to the Business Office; failure to pay all obligations in full will prevent your readmission.
