A new leadership opportunity for managers and supervisors of non-profits throughout Maryland, the Certified Public Manager Program, will kick off with an open house and early registration opportunity at the University of Baltimore on Wednesday, June 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event, hosted by UB's Schaefer Center for Public Policy and Maryland Nonprofits, will take place in the School of Law's Venable Baetjer Howard Moot Court Room, 1415 Maryland Ave.
The CPM is a nationally recognized leadership development program, through which participants gain the comprehensive, applied public sector management skills needed to meet the complex demands and challenges of the 21st century public management environment. The CPM program is a 15-month, non-residential course resulting in a certificate. It is offered in cohort format to groups of 25 participants.
