Take advantage of InDesign's style palettes to save time, ensure consistency and gain more control over your text and objects. InDesign styles are especially useful in multi-page documents and when changes need to be made frequently and in several places.

Prerequisites: working knowledge of InDesign's basic tools and simple text formatting; working knowledge of Mac OS X is recommended but not required
