The HEROES Academy (Higher Education Readiness and Orientation for Exceptional Students) is a University of Baltimore community outreach initiative created and hosted by UB faculty and staff. This college-readiness program provides high school students an opportunity to have a simulated college experience as they begin making decisions about life after high school. To date, 600 local high school students and over 100 UB staff have volunteered.
Please give a warm welcome to our visiting high school students if you should see them around campus on Friday, Oct. 26.
