UB Student Business Pitch Competition Submission Deadline

Participate in the Spirit of Entrepreneurship at UB! Compete for $1,000 Cash Award.
All students welcome to submit a Business Pitch for the upcoming Start Up Maryland event.
Interested students should submit a one paragraph description about his/her venture to ubopportunity@ubalt.edu by 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 6, 2012. (No slides please).

Submissions will be reviewed and the top 12 pitch participants will be notified by Wednesday, September 12, 2012. In order to participate, participants must receive pitch coaching TBA at a later date. These pitch participants will pitch ideas at Pitch Across Maryland, on the Tour Bus, in the Video Pit, on September 20 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. and our CEI judges will be on the bus judging at that time as well. Videos will be uploaded and posted on-line and after the Tour for the public to then vote. Information about Startup Maryland go to: http://www.StartupMaryland.org.
As part of this tour, UB will sponsor a campus-wide Pitch Competition. The top pitch, chosen by the judges, will be awarded 1,000.00 at the end of the video recordings.
