The expanding and changing global economy is profoundly impacting the way in which we think about food and nutrition. The event will feature a Global Hunger Banquet. The banquet will be an opportunity to observe—in a very real way—how different nations feed themselves, and will include reflection on issues of global hunger and nutrition. The banquet will be followed by a screening of the film One in Six, which focuses on world hunger and malnourishment around the globe.
Dinner will be served, so please RSVP to confirm your space.
This event is co-sponsored by the Helen P. Denit Honors program, the Rosenberg Center for Student Involvement and the Diversity and Culture Center.This event fulfills the Global Perspectives requirement for Leadership UB certification.
