Law Review Symposium - Privacy Rights and Proactive Investigations: Emerging Constitutional Issues in Law Enforcement

When:
Location:
School of Law Moot Court Room
Description:

Emerging technologies and frontier investigative techniques expand the capabilities of law enforcement, but at the same time, raise significant constitutional issues relating to privacy rights and criminal justice. Maryland stands at the center of several national debates concerning these very subjects. Three of those important controversies -- GPS tracking devices, DNA database laws, and methods for suspect identification -- are the subject of the Law Review's 2013 Symposium.

Lunch will be provided for Symposium attendees.
