Dean Weich will discuss the unique ethical issues confronting lawyers for government agencies. Lawyers have an ethical duty to their clients, but who is the "client" of a government lawyer? The head of the agency? The elected official who appointed the head of the agency? The Drawing on his experiences as a prosectuor, a lawyer for several U.S. senators and a political appointee in the Obama Administration, Dean Weich will explain why there are no easy answers to these questions.
