If your major or intended profession is criminal justice, psychology or public administration, SPSS is an especially useful software tool for analyzing data. Designed specifically for statistics, SPSS is more user-friendly and yields more information than does Excel. In this SPSS workshop, you’ll run basic statistical tests, interpret the results and be better equipped to make informed decisions.

 Inferential Statistics With SPSS

Using an existing SPSS data file and several basic statistical techniques, you'll test hypotheses to better identify patterns, understand complex relationships and predict risks and trends.

Required: basic knowledge of Windows environment; see PC Basics or alc@ubalt.edu for a hands-on introduction to Windows

Note: If no RSVP window appears below, the class is full. You can check availability in our 9/23 workshop, or check this window later for cancellations. If you're enrolled in a course requiring statistics with SPSS, you can contact our math coordinator, Yoosef Khadem (ykhadem@ubalt.edu) about setting up an additional session.
