An author and missionary, the Rev. Dr. Cecelia Williams Bryant brings 40 years of international experience to the empowerment of women and children around the world. She is the founder of primary schools in Cambridge, Mass., Dallas, and Liberia, and she created an orphanage in Mohotlong Lesotho.

Bryant is the author of several books, including Letters for First Ladies, I Dance with God: A Cojourney In Prayer, and Kiamasha: A Spiritual Discipline for African American Women. She also contributed to Volume 4 of Those Preaching Women.

Prof. Diedre Badejo's fall 2013 African Woman and feminism course presents this special conversation with Bryant. The event is free and open to the public.
