Tapped Movie Screening and Reflection

When:
Location:
Business Center
Room:
003
Description:

Change: After viewing "The Garden" , we have decided to show "Tapped" instead.

Tapped provacatively discusses the role of water bottles in our society. We hope you will come for this screening and discussion.

Join UBGreen and the Helen P. Denit Honors Program for a special screening of The Garden and a follow up reflection and discussion. The movie covers the saga of a 14-acre community garden that arose from the ashes of the Los Angeles riots as its fate is tested by pressure to convert the land to development.  Afterwards, we will discuss what the movie means to us. What are the lessons for Baltimore's community gardens and neighborhoods?

Lunch will be served for those who view the screening and R.S.V.P. For those with conflicting class schedules, please attend for as long as you can. All members of the UB community are encouraged to join us.

Please R.S.V.P.
