Jaimy Gordon, winner of the National Book Award for her novel Lord of Misrule, will read from her works on Tuesday, April 22 as the University of Baltimore's M.F.A. in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts presents a Klein Family Fund Reading. The event, free and open to the public, will take place at 7 p.m. in the Hilda and Michael Bogomolny Room in the UB Student Center, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave.

A native of Baltimore, Gordon graduated from Antioch College in 1966 and received an M.A. in English and a doctorate in creative writing, both from Brown University. She lives in Kalamazoo, Mich., where she teaches in the M.F.A. program of Western Michigan University.
