Articles—“a” and “the”—are small words that play large roles in language. Do you say, “the society” or “society?” “Congress” or “the Congress?” And what about capitalization? “President” or “president,” and “Master’s degree” or “master’s degree?” Does any of it really matter? This workshop will explore these and other related questions, and is especially recommended for students whose first language is not English.
