On Wednesday, November 2 at 6 pm in LC Town Hall, ACS and NLG will host an interactive presentation by Barry Kowalski, one of the lead prosecutors in the federal Rodney King trial.  Mr. Kowalski will present the State's case against the officers accused of beating Rodney King in 1992 and explain why the officers were acquitted on the state level.  Mr. Kowalski will also present the federal case and explain how DOJ and the USAO were able to overcome the issues that arose in the state trial to secure convictions against the officers.   A reception will follow.
