Maryland Court of Appeals Judge Shirley Watts will administer the oath to the 71 student-attorneys participating in UB's Clinical Law Program this semester. The law school has 13 clinics, including the new Pretrial Justice Clinic. Under Rule 19-217 of the Maryland Rules of Procedure, student-attorneys may practice law under the direction of experienced lawyers. (The rule was formerly Rule 16.)
