Facilitators: Dr. Waters, and Ms. Ahmna Khan, Counseling Center
Purpose: The purpose of this discussion is to allow students of all backgrounds to express their feelings and concerns about this immediate issue within a safe and respectful environment. As mental health providers, we will help students explore the psychological impact of “the immigrant ban” as opposed to the politics behind the executive order. In addition, time will be spent considering diverse ways of coping with our reactions to this and related events.
When: Thursday, February 16th, 2017
Time: 12:30-1:50pm
