Join us as guest speaker, criminal justice alumnus Shanai Dunmore, B.S. ‘17, discusses her work as Chief Deputy Officer for the Baltimore City Office of the Register of Wills, and how her UB education helped prepare her to work in both the public and private sectors. Light refreshments will be served.

The Lunch and Learn Series brings UB alumni and members of the greater community to campus to share their experiences, giving students the opportunity to learn more about career options for their course of study. This series is brought to you by the Nonprofit Management and Community Leadership program.

 

About Shanai Dunmore...

Shanai N. Dunmore graduated from the University of Baltimore in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She is the Chief Deputy Officer in the Register of Wills (ROW) Office for Baltimore City. In her role, Dunmore is responsible for overseeing various departments such as Probate Proceeding, Court Clerks, the Audit Department, and the Fiscal Administrator’s Office.  In addition, Dunmore is the sole business owner of Gifted Hands.  Prior to her current position, Dunmore worked in various capacities, including City Council Assistant and Legal Secretary.  She is also currently seeking admission to the University of Baltimore School of Law. Dunmore is a proud mother to her daughter Chloe Nicole Lourdes Neal, a member of the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success, and a mentor to Baltimore youth.
